Google NOT Digging Digg

I wanted to post an update…In the previous post I posted that Google was in the process of buying Digg.com for $200 Million, but now it seems Google doesn’t dig Digg after all and walked away from the deal, as posted on ShoeMoney.com

Just like that, $200 Million was taken from the hands of Digg owners. It wasn’t the first time that happened though, as there have been previous Digg deals that fell through.

What happens to Digg from here? I’m sure they’ll be just fine, but I don’t see another $200 Million deal coming around anytime soon.

Digg is a service where everyday people like us post and rate stories there, the best ones to be promoted to the front page based on maximum number of votes received…

Thanks for the info. I’m new to blogging and site creation and found your post helpful, because it wasn’t full of the usual bafflingly jargon.

The only problem with Digg revolts is each one sends yet more juveniles (in behavior, if not actual age) to reddit, where they’re destroying that once-fabulous community too.

Great gift idea for the tool man who seems to have most everything. I know of a few men on my list that could use a good Saw Sharpener! Thanks for the heads up!
